Thao to Join Radiolab Live: In the Dark in Miami Beach and Salt Lake City

Thao has just announced that she will be live scoring two more nights of Radiolab Live: In the Dark! The first night is February 1st, 2012 in Miami Beach, FL and then she’ll join the show again in Salt Lake City, UT on April 5th, 2012. Both shows are on sale now. Please see below for details.

Radiolab Live: In the Dark is hosts Jad Abumrad and Robert Krulwich of Radiolab – a WNYC produced science and philosophy focused radio show and podcast – taking the stage to explore what it’s like to be In the Dark-with comedian Demetri Martin, modern dancer-athletes Pilobolus, and live scoring from Thao. In the Dark will be a night of gripping stories, wonder-inducing demonstrations, and jaw-dropping images. We’ll hear an astronaut’s harrowing experience during a space-walk, take a peek inside two very different realities described by two blind men, and imagine, step-by-step, how something as utterly complex as the eye could have evolved.

The film that Thao scored, AMERICAN TEACHER, has added screenings in dozens of new cities, including today, 10/28, in Hartford, CT and Monday, 10/31, in Chicago, IL.

Its final screening in New York is this Sunday, 10/30, with a Q&A featuring director Vanessa Roth.
